Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and support to my daughter throughout her day - Implement strategies and teach skills that work toward her goals based on her ISP - Provide opportunities to teach her life skills to increase her independence - Transport my daughter to work-related or social events on her calendar - Communicate and coordinate with managing employer and necessary team members about any needs, challenges, or updates with Rachel and/or schedule - Promoting and implementing healthy lifestyle choices (i.
e.
exercising, healthy mealtimes, etc.
) - Assist with developing age-appropriate social skills and behaviors relating to peers and adults - Provide support during work and/or social events (i.
e.
facilitating conversation with others, assisting behavioral support during challenging times at work, etc.
) - Modeling and teaching appropriate behaviors while in the community (i.
e.
engaging with others, self awareness skills, safety skills, etc.
) - Assisting with emotional regulation and teaching her age-appropriate coping skills - Perform light housekeeping duties that she can't complete on her own Estimated Salary:
$25-$30 per hour - negotiable based on degree and experience.
